We are having our last frosty mornings this week. The forecast is for snow. Spring is just around the corner. It must be...all the new blooms are telling me so! We are at winter's edge...spring is a guest yet to arrive, and winter is hesitant to depart.
I am a dyed in the wool autumn/winter girl. Saying good-bye to those seasons is always bittersweet...although the longer and warmer days draw me out into the sunlight, I always long for the short brisk days of winter. Days where I curled up with my knitting and hibernated in a cave of fibers, skeins, and projects piled high around me.
Not to fear. Knitting is not just a seasonal companion. Knitting is my friend that travels easily at my side through all seasons. At all times.
I'm a fall/winter girl too! But for some reason I love when spring begins!
