Omega

The yarn is an STR Rare Gem that I picked up earlier this fall at the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival. I'm dubbing it 'Fire and Ice'. Apropos for the weather we've been having...particularly the ice part!

I think we have the beginning of a picot cuff. Hmmm. Which pattern do you think the last pair of socks knit in 2008 will become?

Oh you are so lucky! Probably at home again today I'm guessing as it is pretty slick out.
That Rare Gem is lovely. I can't think of 'Fire and Ice' without thinking of Blades of Glory.
That movie is so stupid and I love it SO much.
Happy Knitting!
I'm with you in spirit:)

You like to Monkey around with those picots, I know!

Love that Rare Gem. Reminds me of tropical isle red soils (that infamous ferrous oxide) and the clear shallow waters near the shore.
