winter interrupted

Adversity draws men together and produces beauty and harmony in life's relationships, just as the cold of winter produces ice-flowers on the window-panes, which vanish with the warmth.
~Soren Kierkegaard

Last weekend we went up the mountain in search of light at sunrise. We had a thermos of hot coffee to share. You can't imagine our delight to discover the specular aura surrounding each and every branch and leaf. It was magical....and fleeting. We returned the next day for an encore.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Oh, how magical and awe-inspiring, reminding me that moments like that are so fleeting but the next day brings a new journey to seek new breathtaking moments!

Oh, how lovely! It must have been breathtaking. What a romantic couple you are - It gets me to thinkin'. I should do something like that with Mr. Darling (when he's being a darling, that is).
