oh, i LOVE this post! i've always been fascinated with queen anne's lace, especially that little dark-colored flowerette at the middle; what's that all about?

aside from that this is such a lovely summer photo shoot, thank you!

Lovely! Reminds me of when I was a little girl and my grandmother would let me place some QAL in a glass with food coloring in it. By the time I was ready to go home, my QAL had changed from white to whatever color I had put in the water. Magical to a 6 year old!

I just pulled a bunch of this out of my garden today! I remember picking bunches of it for my mom and being so proud only to learn years later that she was very allergic to it:)

ps I have heard of Queen Anne's Lace, but I don't think I've every actually seen it!
