treasures

Sometimes it's the littlest things that bring the biggest smile to your heart...

The way colors unexpectedly unite...

...found marbles from long, long ago...

...knitting on a new pattern.

And sometimes it's the biggest things...

all the love and warm wishes for little Gibson's recovery...thank you!!

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. ~Thornton Wilder

I have been a fan (stalker!) of your blog through Knitspot. I am a knitter but more than anything, love beautiful things - yarn - of course, flowers, nature, whatever... Your photography is lovely - I can't wait to see what simple things in life you have captured in extraordinary ways. I also was drawn to your site by the ALS logo - my husband, 47, has been living with ALS since 2001. Thanks for adding some sunshine to my days!

Your pictures and poems bring me such joy. May I please use them as background on my computer screen sometimes?
