light past

Sometimes our fate
resembles a fruit tree in winter.
Who would think that those branches
would turn green again and blossom,
but we hope it,
we know it.
~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The Dapple socks are slowly coming along...it's secret knitting time, so everything else gets the back burner for a wee while, including these lovelies.

The green is so fresh and lively...a perfect curative for the gray, gray, gray days we've been having.

Grey is right! Although we had a very brief respite of white. Nice socks...how long did it take to get your order from AU?

Such pretty colors and perfect words to go with. I'm just crawling out of the holiday hole I had dug myself into, so refreshing to come see what you've been up to.

Beautiful socks. There's nothing like a good looking heel flap.

That sock is seriously gorgeous! What fun, fun yarn, and I love how the varying textures change it up a bit. Lovely!

The colors in this sock are so warm - it's an unusual combination and it works.

I really like that poem. So truthful.
