winter light

The thing about this time of year is that one evening it can be cool and bleak...

...and the next is bright and golden.

I, for one, have a fulminant case of spring fever. I can't wait for the longer days to arrive and the 'bleaks' to go away!

The Dapple socks are finished. I so heart this yarn, and am really pleased with how the socks turned out.

I for one am happy it's Friday-eve...what about you!?! One more day until the weekend! Yay!

Nature has undoubtedly
mastered the art of winter gardening
and even the most experienced gardener
can learn from the unrestrained beauty around them.

so beautiful!! I heart your Dapple socks too!!! Ribbed socks are the best! I just received a package of lovely Skein yarn today in the Top Draw base. I can't wait to play with it! Hugs, lovesockwool

Love the orange spike in your Dapple socks! Hmm, that last photo.... we need a yarn dyed to match the greens, yellow and orange in those!!! Hmmmm.

Now reaching for the dictionary for "fulminant".... (like "bad"?)
(from yarns and patterns I don't have to words I don't have. Geeze are you a challenge!!)

Have a great weekend!

Crazy how I've not gotten my butt over to check out your blog! Lovely things, as always-I missed so much-what's wrong with me? Why can't life be all about knitting, spinning, blogging and all the funderful stuff? Will u be at Stitches West? If so, would love to see you!
