picots in bloom

uhoh...something new hopped onto the needles. After a little correspondence with Marcy I got turned onto her 'Spring Blooms' Mystery Sock KAL pattern over on the Solid Socks group on Ravelry.

There was a picot edge involved.

Resistance was futile.

Speaking of spring blooms...I went on my first official photowalk of the season this weekend.
As soon as I left the house the wind picked up, the sun went behind a cloud, it rained, the sun peeked out, and the cycle repeated numerous times.

My camera and I persevered despite the stares of onlookers!

Back to that sock...I'm using MadTosh sock in a lovely spring green colorway that was part of a Woolgirl kit awhile back. I love the color, and think it is perfect for a spring sock.

I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for a new week!

Every time I come to your blog, I think that I might cast on for a pair of socks but I always resist (discipline discipline)!!! Thanks for the beautiful pictures!
