autumn's cheer

Happy September!!
In my little book of rules, the first of September is the beginning of autumn...

...and despite the presence of the sun last evening...

...the crisp air shouted "autumn" loud and clear!

It's time to pull out your woolies!! Happy dance!! :)

Happy Friday-eve!!

By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

I adore Autumn. It's my favorite time of year. Here in the Midwest it's doing all it can to hang on to summer - but I'm like you! It's September. That means Fall! YEAAAAA

It's Autumn until this weekend, then it's summer again! ;) You know how I love Autumn too, the cooler, crisp days, and apple cider!

I agree, time to pull out the woolies. I do believe that Fall seems to be every knitters favorite season! Happy Knitting on those wonderful socks.

You're right, fall is in the air; we have big spiders making webs everywhere, and this morning the thermometer said 52! What a pretty colorway, what is it?

Thanks for the thoughts...of cooler weather. We're getting hit with another heat wave - outside anyway. Over 100 tomorrow....in Ohio! But, we're not flooded, we have no water or wind damage. And, this will pass! Thanks for giving the gift of thoughts of Fall!!! Hugs! (Cause your may be cool enough of enjoy them!!!) :^)

I'd dance with you if it weren't for the fact that we will hit 100 for the next several days!
Your photos are the eye candy that start my day!

Beautiful photos and sentiments as always, though here in the midwest (southeastern Iowa), where I live, it was 101 today! :) I'm sure it will feel like Autumn sometime soon, though, and that will be a welcomed thing.
