I saw this color in use a short while ago on Ravelry and had to have it. I just had to!
It's STR 'ghoulash'

While on our way to the coast a few weeks ago, we stopped in Cannon Beach and checked out one of my favorite yarn stores that carries BMFA...Lo and behold...the color was there! woo hoo!

And the pattern...another pair of Intrepid Travelers...what can I say...there's a method to my madness of preferring memorizable patterns...I can travel light and paper free!

But look...the heel is different! By the time I got to the heel I had this book in my hot little hands, and knew I had to try the linen stitch heel instead of the eye of partridge that I was thinking about doing for a change of pace.

Love. It.

Oh yeh....I added a picot edge instead of the original ribbed edging, surprise there, right? LOL!

Oh how this color has brightened up the days around here!

I hope you have a fabulouse weekend! xo

Kind hearts are the gardens,
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the flowers,
Kind deeds are the fruits,
Take care of your garden
And keep out the weeds,
Fill it with sunshine
Kind words and kind deeds.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Love how the linen stitch heel turned out. I see you're keeping autumn as long as possible.

Love that color. Looks great with that pattern. You last Lognfellow quote made me think of this one.
"In the garden of thy heart, plant naught but the rose of love." Baha'u'llah
Have a great day.
