winter play

Look what a three-day weekend can produce!

First up...a new to me yarn: Socktopus Sokkusu Original yarn in "Spring Storm" (I got mine here).

I've never used this yarn before and wanted to give it a whirl...I'm so glad I did. I heart it!
It could be my new favorite yarn. Seriously.
I. Heart. It.

The pattern...dang, I'll prob'ly get a poopy label for this (smile) but it's of my own making from one of BW's Treasuries.

Is there anything better to do in the depths of winter than to play in new yarn and new patterns?
Nope.

Play on!

Play is the exultation of the possible.

As usual, your play is artful!

I won't say the p-word, but I'll bet Tina does - and you'll say "POOP" when you get no rare gems for your b-day!!
(grin). You caught the subtle shading in this yarn wonderfully! Of course I expect no less from the Cannon Cueen! Looks wonderful! Thanks loads for the new addiction outlet...in one of my favorite states no less. See... you're still in trouble!!!

Great color, but you must have got the last of it! :(

It's so soft and peaceful to look at. Such soft soft color.
What a clever girl to spend your weekend so productively happy.

Those little bits of color are so subtle in there, so pretty. Is it snowing where you are? It's finally snowing here...and your yarn reminds me of snow. Peaceful, monochrome but little bits of variation...
