breakfast for supper

Hope is a good breakfast but a bad supper.
~Francis Bacon, Sr.

Clearly, one needs to have more 'breakfast' for supper!

I love waffles for dinner...what about you, what's your favorite breakfast for dinner?

Have you heard of Waffle House restaurants? Scrambled eggs with cheese, hashbrowns, and pecan waffle! And I do a mean "Waffle House at home" version. Yes arteries clog - but it doesn't happen too often :^)

pancakes! However my hubby doesn't like breakfast for dinner so I only get that when he's out of town. Those scones looks yummy! g

Eggs and beans (yes, baked beans!) on toast. The YUM!

With bacon, when we're feeling decadent xo

When the kids are home, I like to make "Toad in a Hole" a sausage and Yorkshire pudding comfort food. Supper eggs and ham are improved with leftover baked potatoes made into hash browns! We are having pancakes for Shrove Tuesday, Feb 12.

Gorgeous! We've been enjoying bowls of various grains and veggies topped off with a soft boiled or poach egg or two lately. But quiche and frittata are high on my breakfast for dinner favs or weekend brunch favs.

Your site is so beautiful. You inspire me to keep trying to knit socks, even though I'm not very good at it, lol. Pancakes are my weakness. I love pancakes anytime of day with real maple syrup and a big frosty glass of milk. Pancakes for dinner = sweet dreams. :)

Well, since you asked... it's what we call 'Tommy loves it." Take some salmon - any kind - put in a skillet with a little melted butter and cook or warm (whatever is needed.) Then start cracking eggs and stir them in. Then make a cream sauce and add to it. Serve on toast. Wallah!

You-know-who just loves it!
