nightscapes

Recently, I was inspired by a fellow photog's images
and wanted to experiment with nightscape photography, too.
A far cry from knitterly pursuits, food, and cats...but totally fun! Totally.

Mr. NK and I drove into the city late one evening, sought out a vantage point, and clicked away.

I just wish we had some hot cocoa to sip on,
as it was brrrrr-cold the night we were shooting!
Next time.

Long exposures allow for lots of playing with camera dials and knobs for some abstract effects.
Too much fun was had...
...Yep...the truth is out there now - I'm a cheap date!! :)

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack in everything,
That's how the light gets in.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a cheap date. Glad you had a wonderful evening with the Mr. Those pictures are fabulous. g

Beautiful photographs and a Leonard Cohen quote... doesn't get any better than that!
