two heels and a toe

Summer's end is just around the corner. Less than 4 days away. Dusk is coming upon us earlier and earlier. The shadows are getting longer and longer. A sure sign that autumn is rapidly approaching is the Sauerkraut festival that is happening this weekend.

Before too long, it will be time to reminisce about the warm light of summer evenings while wearing these socks to keep my toes toasty warm. I, for one, can't wait!

I love the calico most, but am stunned by the beautiful colors on that darker sock.

Gorgeous! Your photos just remind me of "fall" and with this weather we're having, I feel like it's finally here! Have fun at the festival this weekend!

Wow! I've always passed on Calico as being not my thing, but it's so pretty knit up!

Love your Rare Gem too.

Oh, I'm with ya. When that wind shifts around from the south to the north, something starts in my blood. I yearn for candlelight, beefy stews and of course, wooly knits!
