afternoon delight

I left work a wee bit early to hook up in the city with Mr. NK.

Yep...a foodie hook up!

Of course there was a wee bit of yarn that made its way into the picture.

Satiated and content, we returned home.

What a way to adjourn the week and commence the weekend!

I hope your weekend is full of all that delights you!!

the cupcake was carrot cake with buttercream frosting from Bridgeport pub and bakery...just in case you were wondering! :)

You've just inspired me to get my man out on a date - and I just happen to know of a little pastry shop that makes delicious butter cream cup cakes.

(and it's across from my LYS)

After the mushiness - which was inspiring........next comes yarn...........what is the gorgeous, non calorie laden , yarn?

Hope the rest of the weekend was fun also!

The cupcake looks delicious, but how about that yarn? may I inquire of its name as well?

Gorgeous photos! And what a lovely way to end the workweek, together with your honey. :)

I love how you always capture the colors of your yarn with the colors of something else gorgeous. Looks like you had a nice date, too.

We spent the weekend in San Francisco, but my purple and green yarn was not echoed by any of my food.

I'm just rediscovering your blog and I can't get enough of the gorgeous colours and yarn. I appreciate the monochromatic effect, but also can't choose just one favourite colour. Thanks for the best photos in the knittingsphere.
