August harvest

The Farmers Market was bursting at the seams this weekend with all kinds of goodness!

The wild plums were exceptionally colorful!

And the socks...they're the 'In Season' pattern for July from RSC 2009.

I've made a few modifications to the pattern. Most notable are the picot cuff and the substitution of the Mad Color Weave slip stitch panel for the one in the original pattern.

Picot cuffs are always 'In Season' at Chez NK!

Happy Monday!

You always seem to find some objects to compliment the colors of the socks. We have no red tomatoes here yet. It's been too cold. Grrrr. Well one - a Brandywine with end rot.

Love the socks. It does look a bit autumn-like.
