dessert first

Fall is entering the air.

The clouds are rolling in,

there's a chill in the morning air,
and it's time to go from iced coffee to hot...

...with dreams of pumpkin spiced lattes dancing in my head!

Even though it was a cloudy evening, a gelato was still in order!

Oh but I wish it were true that fall were upon us. But sadly the reality is that summer is bearing down on harder than ever with triple digit heat and humidity...and will be that way for awhile.

No signs, or thoughts of autumn yet!

Coffee with a side of knitting, wrapped with a dish of gelato! Hmmm...sounds lovely. :)T

Dear Anonymous! Sadly you are correct...the promise of fall is going to be a wee bit delayed...but my glass is eternally half-full, and the chill in the morning air will sustain me through those pesky triple digits!

Fall and PSLs will prevail! Dagnabbit!

p.s. I heard the weather report after posting, quite disappointing really! :)

p.s.s. Thanks T, it was quite yummy! :)

Well, fall *was* in the air, but now it's summer again! Lots of variety this summer. Just like our yarn!

You just made me "feel" Fall down here in Southern California... Beautiful words. Thank you!

It's hard not to feel like fall is here, especially when you know that in a week Halloween decor will be in all the local drugstores and supermarkets!
