unraveled

uh-oh! Remember these? I loved them, truly I did. But, they just weren't clicking along. So, I frogged.

I re-skeined. And I started over with these. I'm delighted. And I'm clicking along!

Sock Summit is over. There are not enough adjectives, adverbs or any other modifier available to adequately describe the greatness...and immenseness...that was the inaugural Sock Summit. Between hooking up with old friends, meeting new friends, and breathing the same air as Barbara Walker, Priscilla Gibson-Roberts and Anna Zilboorg...well, what can I say? I was overwhelmed for the better part of 5 days! I had to carry tissues around for the sudden moments of misty-eyedness that struck while listening to Priscilla Gibson-Roberts, and again at the luminary panel on the last day. What can I say? I was not alone. Photos are forthcoming...I'm relishing the ability to relive the moments.

I look forward to your pictures from SS; your photography far outshines mine. And I can't believe I didn't see you all weekend! So sad it's all over...

It surprises me that you frogged the others -- the pictures of them were so lovely that you inspired me to purchase several skeins in a similar colourway because I was so impressed with the Anastasia. Can't wait to see the new incarnation. Lovely blog, by the way. Your exquisite photography gives me enormous pleasure. Thanks for posting.

Those colors make me think of primroses. Beautiful photos and so inspirational for me to keep plugging along to improve my own photography. Thank you!

I totally agree about the tissues. Wish I had thought to bring some along. I thought I was having a bout of PMS with all my mist. :)

I've been stalking your blog for Sock Summit pictures because I know yours will be outstanding!
But it's kind of fitting to see the unravelled pic!
SS09 has disbanded now but will emerge in the knitting of all who experienced it and undoubtedly inspire beauty through all those hands, especially yours!

It was great seeing you at SS09! I think that I am finally getting caught up on sleep and back up to speed today. Whew! It was a blast, but exhausting!

Wish I could have bumped into you at Sock Summit--I'm one of Chrissy's editors and love your photos for the book.

I did have to leave you a comment about your frogged socks, though. . . I ripped out my Anastasia socks on Tuesday, too. Creepy. ;)

Hope to meet you one day!
