amber waves

This is Anne's 'Port Ludlow' sock.

I'm in test knitting heaven. This sock is knitting itself!!

I'm using STR lightweight in the 'Lenka' colorway...I was hesitant, but overall I'm ok with the varigation in the yarn and this stitch pattern.

It's striping beautifully, and when the sock is on and the stitch pattern opens up it is quite lovely.

Do you remember Theo? He's one of our neighbors' kitties. He and his sister Gigi visit alot. It could be secondary to our feeding them...alot! He helped me with last night's photoshoot...let's give him a round of appaws!!

And in AI news: It's going to be Crystal, Casey (yeh baby!), and Lee (meh).

Happy Friday-eve!!!

What does love look like?
It has the hands to help others.
It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy.
It has eyes to see misery and want.
It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men.
That is what love looks like.

Theo might need matching wrist bands. By the way...the word verification (below) for this comment is "cateou".
Wonderful quote.

We love our ginger 'ninja' kittie visitor from nextdoor. My daughter has allergies, so we can't have a full time cat. Theo and your yarn make me love the golden tones.

I can't wait for that pattern! Hope it's available soon. Those socks are lovely--so's the kitty!

I'm definitely with you on AI.

You lucky, lucky girl! I've been drooling over this pattern since I first saw it on Anne's blog. I can't wait until it's up for sale.

Cute kitty. :-D

Love the Port Ludlow sock! I can say I was there when she was inspired (and she is so inspiring too!). Love it paired with Lenka!

And AI...I like Crystal and Lee...Casey (meh) :) And in all honesty, I should tell you, I've downloaded Adam's newest song :)
