If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
~J.R.R. Tolkien

When it's too dark to play outside, I make sure there is plenty of play going on inside!

A friend turned me on to decorating cheerios to look like donuts.
Perfect portion control...except for all the extra chocolate ganache!

What are you going to do for play and merriment this weekend?
I hope you have a blast! xo

It is so very nice to hear from you! I have missed you so much.
I love this post. I am feeling the very same.
Your photographs are so gorgeous. I like these donuts. They look good enough to eat!

Love and Joy,

Tolkien. . . love him. I may have to Tweet that, if you don't mind.

And now I'm off to find some chocolate. How do you take such beautiful pictures? My goodness.

I wonder how many Cheerios it takes to equal one doughnut?

OMGoodness - i thought it was a donut in the first picture. But cheerios! Too cute - in miniature.

My weekend was spent playing with yarn and fabric with a few very sweet memories of Lucy thrown in. g
