what's cookin'?

It has been a long time since I last posted on something knitterly!

Knitting has been happening...just a little bit behind the scenes.

Something new is even on the needles!
The yarn is Colinette  Jitterbug (I don't remember the color!); the pattern is similar to these socks.

Since the pattern was one I designed, I immediately modified it in this pair
to include a beloved picot cuff!

What else has been happening at Chez NK?

I walk the garden nearly every evening, checking for visitors.
Sometimes I'm lucky...which means no knitting, just shutterbugging...literally!!

I hope your week is off to a great start!

Find something you're passionate about
and keep tremendously interested in it.

Beautiful colors of the socks and that beautiful visitor, wow. I was wondering what you do with all those socks? One can only wear so many :).

Always love your images, especially when they include socks. Beautiful sock progress BTW. I have to say your visitor is just amazing!

I LOVE the pot/pan that you used in the knitting shots! It's all grey and scratched up from use - really got a vintage feel to it. And the dragonfly shot - so much detail, and the red background - awesome! :)
