helix of pink

I feel like I've been in a rut of sorts. It took me 3 days to come up with a yarn-pattern combination that floated my boat...

That just never happens. Sigh. It must be the rain. My mojo is water logged.

The pattern is Helix Socks by Sean Riley; it's another pattern from the Brave New Knits book.

The yarn is STR lightweight and it's not a rare gem...you don't know how many rare gems I held in my hands, but a little voice in my head said, "nonono, you'll get in trouble with you know who"!! LOL!! I heart you "you know who"!!

The yarn is "Happy Go Lucky". It was the January color of the RSC, and I figured since it will be publicly available around January, you'd be ok with that, right? :)

Almost all words do have color
and nothing is more pleasant than to utter a pink word
and see someone's eyes light up and know
it is a pink word for him or her too.

Oh, it's glorious! At least when your mojo came around, it was in spades!

Sorry to hear about your mojo, but what could be better than floating on a pink cloud. Great quote!

Bubble Gum. Cotton Candy.

Pomegranate cream over . . .

I love the quote and the stitching is amazing!

I can so identify with waterlogged! But that pretty pink is the perfect pep-me-up. Can't wait to see the rest of the sock! It looks like another nice pattern.

I'm not much of a pink person (I blame my aunt who painted what became my room an awful "Barbie" pink, including the slanted ceiling). That said, I think your photography has won me over :-)

Oh Poop!I feel sooooo guilty!!!!
(Sort of - Kind of ) But...I am a notorious (of course) sock club girl so guess what?
I am a way behind sock club girl, so now, guess what? I haven't knitted up that yarn yet!!!!!
I could switch to using the colorway
in socks that look just like yours!!! (With a few more boo-boos, probably) And then...I could use
one of My Rare Gems for that month's patterns!!! (Uh, Oh. Now I've done it. But, you never asked if I had any rare gems! But, I always like yours better. Tina picks YOURS out personally!!) Sorry for your soggy mojo poopieness! How did you get such a great photo with gray skies? Nice going!!! As usual!!
We had a little of the white stuff and we're supposed to get some more which would be better if it wasn't followed by temps in the teens. Too cold to take the camera out to catch a photo of the amazing lighted tree down the street? Maybe hop out of the car and back in quickly? Stay as dry as you can - and keep up the great knitting! The color is gorgeous!!!
