an invincible summer

What better day to walk through a summer garden than on the winter solstice?

Welcome to Babette's Garden!

You won't need your winter woolies or golashes today! Grab your summer parasol, a glass of lemonade and let your stroll begin...don't forget to close the gate behind you!

In the depths of winter
I finally learned there was in me an invincible summer.

Beautiful! I so enjoy reading your blog. Have a wonderful celebration!
I tried to see the eclipse, ha ha, last night, snowy sky you know, very cloudy. It would have been fun to see the redness.
Hugs to you for now.

Nice photos!! Even though it's 47 here, our garden falls way short with any kind of beautiful vegetation. One of my friends just gave me a Christmas Rose (helebore) which will go outside eventually. Merry Christmas!

Such a treat to see summer beauty when everything outside is brown! Thanks!

I love the textures you've been using! And the subtle words in the top picture are fab!
