Friday night flicks: a wee me-me

A few favorite big screen movies to knit by on a chilly November evening:

Wuthering Heights (favorite line: Cathy: "I am Heathcliff"; also a favorite book) This is the 1939 movie with Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon.
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (I heart this movie!)
Rope (Creepy, creepy)
Bridget Jones's Diary (note the presence of my man Colin as Mr. Darcy, again! The last three minutes of the DVD are worn OUT!)
Love Actually (My man Colin, again...the sweater...the pond scene...hmmm...a theme is building! And the extra bonus of Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson)
The Fugitive (mostly because I really liked the old TV series)

And some slight progress on the Hollyday Monkey socks...I'm ready to start the toe.

Rope is one of my favorites. I love Hitchcock in general, and you're right, it's even creepier than most of his others. Love it.

Have a good weekend!

Oh, I wish. But I'm on a yarn diet. Or rather, a yarn fast. Until MARCH. Have fun, and take pictures!!!

I'm afraid EVERYTHING counts. I have a sweater planned for after xmas that I've been scheming about for months, and that is the only exception. But I have enough stuff on the needles, or planned and with the yarn already bought, to get me through and then some.
