Jilly's Garden Socks

May God grant thee

Enough sun to warm the earth,

Enough rain to make things grow

A good strong back,

A wide brimmed hat,

And a good sharp goose-neck hoe,

Strength for a day of toil,

And some quiet evening hours,

With a sip of tea,

and a gentle breeze,

And may all your weeds be wildflowers ~ Ralph Emerson Purkhiser
A Gardener's Blessing

Garden Path socks in Dream in Color Smooshy 'Lipstick Lava' for my sister Jill. Her garden is amazing and was as much the subject as the socks were in this FO post!

Here I am reminiscing about my Mom and her 5 sisters and then come here to read such lovely prose to your sister! Lovely socks in a beautiful photo-gram to Jill!

Gaily...what a beautiful sentiment and prose for such lovely sox de art! You created a fabulous photo shoot with my fantastic sox and my cutie patootie cuddler Scooter. Thank you for being the creative soul you have become and I can hardly wait to wear those beauties...if you ever let them curl up in my drawer! I can hardly wait to see your next creative wonder! Those socks are gorgeous! She better not wear them inside of work boots:)
I love the action photo of puppy and also the ladybug on the dogwood.

I read it twice too. What a great great post. I clicked on your "toe-up" link to get here. The photo of your dog running made me laugh :)
