making time

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.
~Elizabeth Lawrence

Saturday, I'm going with my mom to her favorite farm to do a little pumpkin hunting, and on Sunday, we're going to Astoria to celebrate Mr. NK's mom's birthday. It's gonna be a full one...might have to take a little vacay before work...hah! just kidding!

What about you? Anything special on the calendar!? Don't forget to take a moment to watch the leaves turn! xo

I am taking the time to watch the leaves in our garden. The edges are turning yellow. I showed my boys - they are very interested in the leaves falling, so they can make leaf piles to jump in :0)
Funny, because my tomato plants are still producing, and my strawberry plant just got two more flowers on it!

What a good reminder. I'm watching the treetops outside my window right now - they're starting to be tinged yellow and brown.
I'm borrowing a friend's car this weekend for a shopping trip in Indiana. I hope you enjoy all your activities!

I'm going to celebrate a baby to be at a shower. I just finished the blankie, so it'll be barely blocked. Then I'll cast on a shawl for soon to be widow. That's taking time by the reins.

I would give anything to take long moments to watch the leaves turn. Still, I take a few moments to admire the nice automn colors that are on now! Tomorrow, I will be visiting Old Montreal (I do live nearby Montreal). It is a Spanish tour organized by our Spanish meetup orgranizer. This should be fun and relaxing... but I really look forward to having more time for myself to knit this winter!!! Have a good one and continue to post these lovely pictures of yours!
