lubov

Another FO...just in time for the holidays!!

It's the Lubov scarf by Grumperina found in Brave New Knits.

The pattern was straight forward and a fairly quick knit,

I just didn't get the length I expected from it.

And look...a sunny afternoon to accompany the photoshoot!

Don't let it fool you...it was chilly...I had to put on the socks I intended to photograph to stay warm!! (yep...birenstocks, no socks...not anymore!)

It's Friday-eve and Christmas-eve-eve--Yippy Skippy!!

I need to finish up some other projects, get to the grocery store before everyone else, and do a wee bit of house cleaning, very wee...so I better sign off.

I'm not sure I'll be back before the holiday, so let me wish you all a very wonderful and magical holiday season! I hope all your wishes come true!! xo

Christmas is not a time nor a season,
but a state of mind.
To cherish peace and goodwill,
to be plenteous in mercy,
is to have the real spirit of Christmas.

That is just perfect to warm up and brighten up the winter! Such a pretty scarf! I've been on the fence about that book for forever...you keep tempting me!

Happy happy Christmas to you and Mr. NK and the kitties! Big hugs G!

Merry Christmas to you and your family. I hope you enjoy the time together.

The scarf is so pretty. Warm and toasty - will it be a gift or will you keep it to yourself?

ps. I am nervous to tell you this, but the print has not come in the mail. *Please* tell me you didn't mail it yet! I can't imagine it getting lost in the mail after all that work you did. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Great quote, and very pretty scarf. I ordered that book based on the socks, and this looks like another good reason. Merry Christmas.

Lovely! Every year I tell myself I'm going to buy Kid Hollow Farm yarn at SAFF, but I never get around to it!
