beach glass

Third time's a charm. I cast on for these socks a little while ago, but wasn't pleased with the striping and how the colors stacked. Rip. I cast on again with a different yarn...lovely yarn, but still not what I was envisioning for this sock.

And much like Goldilocks...I dug deeper into the stash and when I saw this yarn, I knew it was just right.

'Perfect sock' yarn in  'See Spot Run'.

The pattern...Tesserae.

Ahhhh....just right.

I just love the colours in this yarn! You're right - exactly like pebbles and sea glass! I have a little dish of bits I've collected over the years! I've just finished knitting another of Anne's sock patterns, and have Tesserae lined up as a possible contender for the next pair!
