market faces

We went on a little road trip to the Astoria Sunday Market this past weekend.

It was a little chilly and a little windy but we had a blast. I even knit during the drive down and back on a project that had been languishing for almost 3 years.

I didn't know where to aim my camera...
at the cute kids...

...or the flowers at the market!

There were dogs everywhere at this market. They were all so well behaved.

These poppies were amazing.

There was even a real blacksmith doing his thing at the market.

I'm thinking Sundays will have a whole new itinerary.

To keep our faces toward change
and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate
 is strength undefeatable.

I am so inspired by your marketplace photos. I esp love the one of the blacksmith - thanks for providing some lovely inspiration!

Hugs...

Love the flowers- without a studio! My sister is a blacksmith. It's hard to get good shots, most are of hers and the horse's back end. Well done.

So Astoria has a Sunday market, eh? Is there a yarnshop also? Great photos, Gail. Do you know what kind of poppy? I've never seen purple ones.
