sock talk

I've typed, deleted, typed, and deleted five times...maybe six.

Perhaps, I should just let the socks do the talking today!

Do you have anything fun planned for the long weekend? It's my mom's and sisters' birthdays (Happy Birthday!!!!), so I'm thinking there might be some cake in my future!! Yum.

Wishing you a fun and 'sweet' weekend!! xo

Beautiful pictures!!

My mom's birthday was yesterday so we're doing some birthday festivities this weekend as well. And my cousin is getting married tomorrow, so it'll be a big weekend!

May is the month for birthdays. My family has 4 of them in 8 days!

Your tesserae socks are gorgeous! I'm planning to cast on a pair myself this weekend for the Hazel Knits KAL. I just can't seem to decide between Grape Harvest, a variegated, or Starry Night, a solid....

I work tonight, have a choir concert tomorrow (my daughter gets a music scholarship). I lead Folk Music Sunday at church, followed by a concert for my mom's sorority and then a youth event for the cancer Relay for Life. Living at the speed of sound!

It's birthday week in my family too - my brother's & his wife's & my cousins'. Happy birthday to your mom & sis.

We're heading up to the Sierras where it'll be un-seasonably cool though I'm not sure we're going to get your rain or not.

I've no socks on the needles, so I need to make sure I wind up a skein (either STR as usual or a Plucky Knitter) so I have a sock WIP for the weekend.

My mom just got into town, and tomorrow my mom and a big group of my friends are going to a fiber festival together. Monday I graduate from college! I've been looking forward to this weekend for a long time. I'm trying to decide what to knit at the commencement ceremony, though...

Those are nice looking socks, Gail, but then the chocolate looks pretty good also. Have a great holiday!

The sock photos are amazing - really stunning! And those chocolates aren't hard on the eyes either!

Hugs!
