thoughts

The second cuff of the Rivercat socks is underway. I love this pattern, but more than that I'm loving the Lucent yarn from the Woolen Rabbit. Love. It.

I seem to be having a bit of an obsession with thread, buttons, and burlap these days. I particularly like thread and buttons because I can pick colors that match or complement the yarn.

I'm so easily entertained!

I was playing with bouquets earlier this week for a different project. Here're a few posies to send you off into the weekend! I hope yours will be bright and fun! xo

There's rosemary, that's for remembrance; pray, love, remember;
and there is pansies, that's for thoughts.

I love her yarns also! That is one beautiful pansy or is it a viola? Great color. Nice sock start too.

I love the blue socks. The photography, as usual, is divine.
You have a nice weekend, too.

I have heard so many nice things about the Woolen Rabbit yarns. I really need to try it as it's from my own state!

Pansies make me think of my mother-in-law who puts pansies in her salads and freezes them into ice blocks to store the white wine and Icelandic brennevin (liquor).
