table for four

Two socks joined us for dinner al fresco Friday.

The pasta was delish...it was a lovely way to start the weekend.

The guests: Hedgehog Fibres and Mama Llama yarns in the current patterns de l'été.

sigh...yum...but we still had room to split a lemon cake with berries.
Now, that's a way to start a weekend!

If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold,
it would be a merrier world.

That looks amazing. We can't eat outside here because it's like a friggin' jungle. The mosquitoes and flies and spiders and would you believe - a plague of baby toads (ok, they're kind of cute) has prevented me from even getting into the garden to weed! Grrrrumble grumble.

So . . off to the beach.

I love that peachy colored sock. Is it Flame? So so pretty!

Beautiful - all of it! Pasta recipe?!? I'd ask for the lemon cake recipe, but I've got to be strong!

Very nice! Where did you find this wonderful looking food? Or are you a gourmet chef as well as knitter extraordinaire?
