friday's flowers: wild irises

Wild irises.

We found them along a rural road a few weeks ago.

These irises are so delicate.

It was quite a pleasant surprise to see so many patches of them!

I'm off to the Black Sheep Gathering this weekend! I'm looking forward to hooking up with some friends that I haven't seen in a long time!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!! xo

I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.

Wow! This color is so much more interesting than the plain yellow ones around here. Have fun with the Sheep.

We have wild purple irises that bloom all along the coast of northern California in March and April...it's a stunning sight. Beautiful pics.

I have subscribed to your feed for as long as I can remember. I don't usually say anything, just quietly admire, but I felt it was high time I let you know how much I enjoy your posts & your talent for knitting & photography.

Thanks for sharing all that talent!
Hugs & Blessings,
