opposing gray

A ball of yarn...you know what that means. There must be finished socks ahead!

I was on a sock finishing jag this weekend...I had 3 pairs of socks that were near completion and I finished them all.

I love these socks...from beginning to end. And I really like how the yarn striped, but still let the patterning show through.

What did you do over the long weekend?

Besides knitting,

we celebrated my sisters birthdays, went on a photowalk with a friend...and boy were we blessed, the only sun to be had the past 4 days was during our walk...

Mr. NK and I took a couple of drives into the hills to look for wild irises and such to photograph, went to the local farmers market and came home with pumpkin starts ( I can't wait for the fall color), and had a relaxing few days. Nice.

How did it get so late so soon?
Its night before its afternoon.
December is here before its June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?

Love the way your sock looks. Opposing grey is totally understandable around these parts; we nearly drowned on our walk yesterday! We did have a nice weekend though: dinner with friends and family and a fun visit to the Glass Museum in Tacoma. Have you been there? I totally recommend it.

Love, love that first shot! This weekend, I had so much fun working in the jardin-- reworking and changing things. Dividing and planting for more possibilities. The weather was on my side, not too hot.

You had a very nice weekend-- did you get iris shots??

Fall color my dear?? What's wrong w summer? Were you born in the fall?

The yarn and the pattern work so well together. I can't get that color out of my head...beautiful!
