little pink socks

The harder it rained, the more I knit on my little pink socks!!

That being said,

Saturday was stunningly beautiful.

The sky was clear and blue nearly all day. I think I was even glistening when I returned from my evening walk!

I think the sun was a signal to the bees to come and get it...they were all over the place...it was really hard to capture them before they flew off to their next meal!

Then of course Sunday happened. Oh well. Knitting weather, right?!

On a side note...does anyone out there watch 'Iceroad Truckers' on the History channel?? OMG...addicting. Talk about being on the edge of your seat...oy!!

Other than my cranky rumblings about the rain, we enjoyed a weekend filled with photography, knitting, walks, the farmer's market, family time...all things good!!

How 'bout you? Did you have a good weekend?

Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.
~Langston Hughes

Here we have the same weather :(
Last week we had also a lot of sunshine and blue skies!
Friday it started to rain.
And now it's colder and is the sky grey.

I wish you a sunny week and I love the pink socks and bee!!!

Yes, to IRT! Except we missed last night because I wanted to catch up on Life. We'll see it later in the week. Stunning socks, love that pink. My yard is a red georgia clay mess so I'm glad we had no rain here yesterday.

Love your photos this week G! :)

Yes to Ice Road Truckers - we love that show and have been addicted to it since it began!

Thanks for brightening my day with your lovely blog post!

Oh yes, another Ice Road Truckers addict here!

We had tornado warnings all weekend, so it was a great weekend to stay in a knit.

I've almost finished two projects! YAY! Now if only I could figure out how to knit that much during the weekdays and get paid for it....hmmm.

Love the socks! Amazing, isn't it, how much better things seem in the sunshine? That large fiery ball is out again today here; hope you're having the same!
