transitions

Spring is slowly transitioning into summer.

At least the calendar is telling me that summer is approaching.

The rainstorms have their side of the story,

and the oh so sweet strawberries gently argue their side.

I have faith they'll get it all worked out, and the berries and summer will rule the day.

Until then, my needles will be busy, my tummy full, and my complaints few as I wait it out.

Long stormy spring-time, wet contentious April,
winter chilling the lap of very May;
but at length the season of summer does come.

Love that color! Looks like a great yarn source? Is this really June? Feels more like fall with very long days........

Gorgeous colorway. Want!

Your pictures capture the longing for ripe berries. I thought a planter of strawberries at the front door would be inviting, but right now it is sad and green and all the blossoms have blown off. There's always next week.

mouthwatering! That is one of the prettiest sock colors. Maybe it's the green. Maybe it reminds me of my early morning discovery - our strawberries are already ripening. The kids are eating them as they turn, so I don't think any will make it to the table.
