happy dance

The Charybdis socks are finito, done, completed! Woot!

I heart them. They were a quick knit in STR 'Blue Moonstone'. What more could you ask for during the lazy days of summer?!

The only mod I made to them was to make a mini-gusset by increasing 6 stitches along the bottom of the sole using Cat Bordhi's Riverbed architecture (well described in the Calvin & Ripple socks by Cristi Brockway).

The socks fit perfectly!!

That's all I've got for today! I hope you all are having a great week!

Inebriate of Air - am I
And Debauchee of Dew
Reeling through endless summer days
From inns of Molten Blue.

This is a gorgeous colorway. A simple clear color with a pattern to match.

It is such a good feeling to get those darn socks off the needles and onto the feet. For me, it means 'starting another project'!

lovely soft pictures.
