The Contents of My Bag

NK, thanks for opening this up for discussion. Your purse is gorgeous, and of course the knitting is beyond fab. Let's talk about bags, baby.

I am not the kind of gal who can have a small purse. I need space. Lots of space. Back-busting, what-the-heck-else-can-I-fit-in-here. Usually at least two knitting projects. (although today, there is but one lonely pair of socks). Receipts, gum wrappers, snacks, oodles of Burt's Beeswax, hand cream, a book, advil, wallet, two small zippered bags, Ipod, water bottle, almond m$ms, miscellaneous papers, 5 or 6 pens, notebook, and who knows what else? I LOVE me some big ole bags (I have dozens). Which is why I was tickled green when S gave me this Queen Bee Creations bag for my bday this past December.

Gorgeous, ain't it?

And, what's in it, you may ask?

A semi-trashy mystery, STR Marbles Jaywalkers (in their trusty plastic ziplock bag), and one of the aforementioned smaller zippered QBC bags. I am not ready to show you all the ENTIRE contents of my purse - I haven't actually cleaned it out since...well, let's just say it's been awhile.

For those of you who are wondering, no, the flowers are NOT in my bag - S sent me those during a particularly trying day last week. They are still kind of living. And, they are beautiful!

Ha! Love the fact that both you and Neuroknitter both have your Marbles socks in your bags.
I emptied out my bag and posted it today, knowing that there was some irony in the fact that my Marbles socks aren't even started yet, but there is ALWAYS an actual marble or two in my bag and/or pocket.
I have the ball you sent divided in two and the Jaywalker pattern printed out. I'm ready to go. I'll start these on the way to Seattle on Tuesday. I promise!!!!
I don't think I ever actually thanked you personally, Shannon. Only on the blog. Sooooo. Thank you. I'm super excited to knit up this yarn, but just need to get through packing first.
Love your leafy-green-very Spring-like bag!
